Image rotator
Where it is: under the title, on every Group Tour.
What it shows
Section titled “What it shows”One large image that changes every few seconds, with a strip of three smaller images beside it. Every image you add takes its turn.
The caption under each image comes from the image’s Title in the Media section, not from the tour. To change a caption, edit the image.
Choosing the images
Section titled “Choosing the images”Work down this list and stop when there is nothing left to add:
- The itinerary first. An image for each place named in the itinerary, in day order.
- At least four. If the itinerary gives fewer than four, add places from Sights, then Tailor your Sights.
- Then any other Sights or Tailor your Sights images you have.
- Nothing else. No stock photos, and no places the tour does not visit.
The tour’s Thumbnail is one of these images, the one that reads best when small.

Tours that need more images
Section titled “Tours that need more images”Nine tours have fewer than four images and are waiting for more: Weimar, Leipzig and the Bauhaus Movement (1); Normandy and Calvados Country (2); the Grand Tour of South Africa (2); and The Beautiful Italian Lakes, Beautiful Black Forest, The Rhine and Moselle Valleys, Cosmopolitan Belgium by Eurostar, Imperial China, and Rhine and Moselle Valleys with Oberammergau (3 each).
