Contact Organiser
The Contact Organiser section appears on every tailored tour page. It shows the group organiser’s name, phone number, email address, and postal address so that tour members know who to contact.
The information does not come from the block itself. It is pulled directly from the tailored tour page’s own properties. You set it on the page, not inside the block.
Where to enter organiser details
Section titled “Where to enter organiser details”Open the tailored tour page in the backoffice and look for the organiser fields on the page’s content tab. Fill in:
- Organiser name — the individual’s name, not the society or group name
- Organisation — the society, club, or group they represent
- Phone — direct number for the organiser
- Email — direct email address
- Address — postal address
Save and publish the page. The Contact Organiser block picks these up automatically.
The block on the page
Section titled “The block on the page”The Contact Organiser block is added to the tailored tour page like any other block. Once it is on the page it requires no further configuration — it reads the organiser details from the page and renders them.
If the organiser details have not been filled in on the page, the block renders empty. Always fill in the page properties first.
