One-of-a-kind sections
A few sections on the site are meant to exist only once.
There is one Tours for Groups, one Tailored Tours, and one Tours for Individuals. These sit near the top of the content tree, directly under Home.
Why you can’t create a second one
Section titled “Why you can’t create a second one”If you right-click one of these sections, or Home, and look for the option to create another Tours for Individuals (or another Tailored Tours, and so on), it won’t be there.
That is on purpose. It is not a fault, and nothing is broken.
Each of these sections is a single home for all the tours of that kind. Every individual tour lives inside its section. So the site only ever needs one of each section, and it is set up to prevent a duplicate being made by accident.
What to do instead
Section titled “What to do instead”You almost never need a new section. You need a new tour inside an existing section.
- To add a new group tour, open Tours for Groups and create the tour there.
- To add a new tailored tour, open Tailored Tours and create the tour there.
- To add a new individual tour, open Tours for Individuals and create the tour there.
If you genuinely need a new section
Section titled “If you genuinely need a new section”Adding a brand-new one-of-a-kind section is a developer task. It involves a one-off change to the site’s structure. If you think a new section is needed, contact your developer rather than trying to work around the missing option.
